It’s been almost a year when the talented actor Irrfan Khan left for heavenly abode after battling a rare cancer. While his fans and every cinema lovers still miss him, Irrfan has left his legacy behind. I am talking about his elder son Babil who also holds an interest in cinema and is looking forward to making a career in the same.
Babil is soon going to make his debut with a Netflix film titled Qala. And the film is being produced by Anushka Sharma who has previously produced NH10 and Phillauri and web series Pataal Lok and Bulbbul.
The film will also feature Tripti Dimri of Bulbul fame, and Swastika Mukherjee, who was recently seen in Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara.
Babil shared an announcement video on Instagram and wrote in his caption, “Tripti freaking Dimri is back again!!!!!! Whooooooo!!! (and a little bit of me Also I’m a bit skeptical about the phrase ‘getting launched’ because the audience should launch off their seats while watching our film and not any individual actor. “From the creators of Bulbbul, Clean Slate Filmz and Anvita Dutt, we bring you #Qala, a Netflix Original film. Qala will be here soon to share her story of her fight for a place in her mother’s heart.”
Talking about the film’s storyline, Qala is a beautiful, heart-breaking story about a daughter who craves her mother’s love.
Well, we can’t wait for Babil’s big debut on Netflix.
