Ameesha Patel On Her Controversy With Bipasha Basu: Ameesha Patel, who is gearing up for the release of her much-awaited upcoming film Gadar 2 opposite Sunny Deol, has finally opened up about her acting career and her relationship with industry colleagues. She also admitted her old and bold controversy with Bipasha Basu and Lara Dutta.

It so happened that, during one of the episodes of Koffee With Karan, Ameesha spoke about Bipasha’s hips after her film Jism, co-starring John Abrahim. After watching the film, Ameesha shared on the show that she would never get permission from her family, especially her grandmother, to do such steamy scenes on the silver screen.

Later, when Bipasha appeared on the show with Lara Dutta, Karan asked her about Ameesha’s comment, and she befittingly replied that Ameesha couldn’t have done a film like Jism because she didn’t have the right body.

Lara also added to that by saying the girl (Ameesha) is dealing with more than enough in her life to really think about or talk about anyone else.

Now, Ameesha Patel has addressed the controversy with Bipasha. Talking with Bollywood Hungama, she said that she still stands by what she says. She doesn’t think Basic Instinct is a bad film. Sharon Stone is a goddess. Jism was a fantastic film with great music, great performances. All I am saying is, Why Bipasha? I am not comfortable being Sharon Stone. I think it takes guts to be there, be bold physically. I can be called sexy and hot. Am I that comfortable with that amount of boldness and skin shown on screen? No, I am not.”
