It seems like Alia declined the offer because her schedule is busy and her calendar is full. She might not have the time to spare for Ramayana due to her commitments.
The directors Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar failed to convince her, and on the other hand, Yash also doesn’t seem too eager to be a part of the film.
It is said that the makers have decided to prepare an exceptional film on Ramayana with a budget of hundreds of crores of rupees. They aim to bring this Ramayana to life through original visual effects rather than relying on motion capture technology.
Well, Ranbir Kapoor is still firm on his decision.
The makers will ensure that they don’t repeat the mistake that Om Raut made in Adipurush. Now that Alia is not a part of the film, according to reports, the makers will consider talking to actors like Kiara Advani or Mrunal Thakur.
