Singer Mika Singh was seen taking a dig at new-age actors while appreciating Sunny Deol for Gadar 2. During a recent media interaction, Mika Singh praised the strong comeback of Sunny Deol and said that the young artists shouldn’t consider themselves bigger and more accomplished than their seniors in the industry.
Mika Singh said, “Gadar 2 dekh li aapne na! To sab bacchon ko pata hona chahiye ki baap baap hi hote hain. Vo 20 saal baad bhi aayenge to sixer maar ke jaayenge. To ye aap sab ne nazaara dekh liya hai. Jab bhi humara comeback hoga to hum aapko tod ke nahi, fod ke jayenge, jitne bhi bacche ghoom rahe hain. But we appreciate their work. Jo bhi new comers aa rahe hain, vo chaayein, apna naam kamayein, apni tarrakii karein. Par vo ye na sochein ki vo baap se upar jaayenge. Bacch bacche hi rehte hain. Aur aaj Sunny Deol ne dikha diya ki 66 ki age mein, ki beta, tum bacche hi rahoge.”

Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma. It brings back the original cast of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001). Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma play lead roles while talented actors Manish Wadhwa, Simratt Kaur and Gaurav Chopra, who were not in the first part, are seen playing important roles in the film. Gadar 2 has collected over Rs 419 crore at the box office in two weeks.
