Om Raut-directed Adipurush is all set to hit theatres on June 16, 2023. Ahead of the release of the film, netizens got angry as Om was caught kissing Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon on her cheeks at Tirupati temple.
On June 7, the team of Adipurush launched the final trailer, which was held at Sri Venkateswara University Stadium and attended by film stars Prabhas and Krit Sanon. However, this mistake by the director sparked controversy on Wednesday because Om Raut was seen kissing Kriti on the cheeks when they were in the temple area.
In the video that is now going highly viral on the internet, Om and Kriti can be seen hugging each other, and before he left for his car, he kissed Kriti. This didn’t go well with the BJP State Secretary in Andhra Pradesh, Ramesh Naidu Nagothu.
While the video has been deleted from the internet, its pictures are going viral.
Adipurush is based on Hindu Mythology “Ramayana”. The film is directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series. It features Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. The film will be released on June 16 in five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
