Aamir Khan launched the trailer of his much-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha on 29th May. For the first time, the trailer was launched during the live screening of a cricket match. Aamir know are known as a marketing guru booked the IPL Finale to launch the trailer. Laal Singh Chaddha’s trailer was released live during IPL Finale on 29th May. Immediately, Twitter was taken by a storm with mixed reviews. While some appreciated the first cut trollers were quickest to make fun of it. However, Aamir took the criticism positively and decided to launch a second trailer of the film.
Aamir tweaks the marketing strategy of his upcoming film after facing massive criticism. Reportedly, the superstar and his team are working on the second trailer to add some drama and humour. Despite being criticized for the first trailer the makers of Laal Singh Chaddha are energetic to relaunch the trailer. The audience will get to see the second cut of the film that is slated to release on August 11.
A source close to the film informed: “Aamir has plans to launch multiple trailers for Laal Singh Chaddha and on seeing the feedback from the audience, he is reworking on the second trailer cut to add some drama and humour to it. The actor wanted the audience to get a vibe of his film with the first trailer and then open up the audience to the world that he has created there.”
The same source further added: “Laal Singh Chaddha is essentially a drama and Aamir is well aware of the audience attention span for dramas in the post-pandemic times. Hence, he is personally invested in all the aspects of Laal Singh Chaddha – from trailer 2 to the final edit of the film.”
Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of Tom Hanks Hollywood movie Forrest Gump. The drama-comedy movie stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Mona Singh in pivotal roles. Directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom 18, and Paramount Pictures.
The film will face a clash at the box office with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan. Both the movies are scheduled to release on the same day. Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhana are gearing up for a good run theatrically in the Holiday season starting with Raksha Bandhan festivity and extending to Independence day. Both the films were highly awaited now the hold is to see which will blow the horn louder at the box office.
