Aamir Khan Makes Donation To PM-CARES Fund & CM Relief Fund

Amidst the coronavirus outbreak many prominent personalities have come forward to help the weaker section of the society and also to help the government eradicate the novel coronavirus. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan has also stepped forward to make donations to the PM-CARES Fund and CM Relief Fund.

However, the sources say that Aamir has also already made the contribution. He also made contributions to the filmmaker’s association and a few NGOs. The PK actor has also donated to the daily wage workers of his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. The shooting of the film has currently been suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Till now, many B-Town celebs have donated to the PM-CARES Fund and various other organizations that are helping the needy.

Akshay Kumar was the first celebrity to donate Rs. 25 crores to the PM-CARES Fund. Salman Khan has pledged to transfer money into the accounts of the daily wage earners in the cine industry. Shah Rukh Khan’s group of companies, Kolkata Knight Riders, Red Chillies Entertainment, Meer Foundation and Red Chillies VFX announced several initiatives to support the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Cheif Minister Udhav Thackeray in their fight against the COVID-19 outbreak in the nation.

Shah Rukh Khan even lent away his 4-storey office building to BMC to help them extend the quarantine facilities for the women, elderly people, and children.
