Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘KBC 16’ returns on public demand, and registration begins April 26.

Amitabh Bachchan is scheduled to return for a new season of the renowned television quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. Sony TV announced the news on social media with a promotion. In it, the Bollywood superstar said that the much-loved show is returning due to popular demand.

The commercial released on the official Instagram account of Sony TV featured fragments of Big B’s emotional speech that he gave after ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’s fifteenth season wrapped. However, a voice shortly says, “An end to what you start is inevitable. But when you’re loved by so many people, it’s impossible not to respond.
The creators also announced that registration for KBC 16 will begin on April 26. The video was published with a comment in Hindi that reads, “We got so much affection that we are returning once more.’KBC registrations commence on April 26 at 9 p.m.

The big announcement sparked excitement among KBC fans. “Thanks for bringing a new season of KBC,” one fan wrote. Â Another commented, “It’s very fantastic to see AB again in KBC.

During the final episode of KBC 15, Bachchan said in his parting speech, “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to go since the stage will not be the same. It’s difficult to tell everyone that we won’t be back here starting tomorrow.”
The first season of Kaun Banega Crorepati premiered in 2000. Amitabh Bachchan has been a regular on the show since then, with the exception of one season. In 2006, Shah Rukh Khan presented KBC’s third season.
