The superstar actress posted pictures from the auspicious occasion on social media. She detailed the ritual in which the mother-to-be sits at the sacred center of the Shri Chakra Yantram. In the detailed post, the actress explained that the nine aavaranas represent different stages of a spiritual journey. At the core lies the bindu, symbolizing the source of creation.

Samantha expressed her profound respect for these age-old customs. She values the timeless wisdom passed down through generations. “There was something incredibly powerful about sitting there, experiencing all of this while understanding what a being invoked for me and for me”, Sam wrote.

Sharing a series of pictures and videos from the ceremony, Samantha explained how the ritual was performed and what it signifies. She was seen in a light orange churidaar, with a garland around her. Seated in an open space, water was poured on her in one video. A few other women touched her head and chest in another picture as the actor closed her eyes during the ritual.

She posted photos of the ceremony, in which Samantha can be seen in a yellow ethnic outfit, with minimal makeup and pregnancy glow. “I have always had a deep respect for our traditions. I may not understand the meaning behind every ritual, but I have always believed that there is something deeper at work… in the sound of a mantra, the energy created through chanting, and the careful way the ancient practices have been passed down through generations.

“What moved me most was the way the mother is seen through this ritual. She is honoured as Devi herself, as the sacred creator through whom another life is taking form. It is a blessing for the child growing within her and also for the woman who is being born into a new version of herself,” she added.

As Samantha Ruth Prabhu embraces this new chapter with grace and gratitude, fans can’t wait to shower her and Raj Nidimoru with more love as they count down to welcoming their first bundle of joy in December 2026.
