Karan Johar can never stay away from controversies. If he is not pulled into a controversy the filmmaker calls for one. Yesterday, KJo announced that he is quitting Twitter for some positive energy. Vivek Agnihotri has also attacked Karan Johar previously. This time again The Kashmir Files director took a slight dig at the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director.
Hours after Karan’s announcement Vivek Agnihotri took to Twitter to make a cryptic tweet. He wrote, “Quitters never win. Winners never quit.” Soon he retweeted his own Tweet and wrote, “I believe a genuine person seeking positive energies would leave Social Media completely. Leaving only Twitter because it doesn’t allow hypocrisy or fakeness but staying on Instagram because it gets brands and allows fakeness itself is negative and screwed-up approach to life.”
Announcing his exit from Twitter, KJo’s final tweet read, “Making space for more positive energies only and this is step one towards that. Goodbye Twitter!” Karan Johar then immediately deactivated his Twitter account but continues to be active on Instagram and Facebook. He had 2 million followers on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
The Kashmir Files director never shies away to put up his thoughts publicly on social media especially when it is for Karan Johar. Lately, Vivek Agnihotri and Kangana Ranaut had slammed Karan Johar for Brahmastra: Part One Shiva. They questioned the filmmaker for diverse figures of the movie at the box office.
Meanwhile, Karan Johar returns to director chair after 6 years of directing Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. His next directorial project is Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani featuring his all-time favourites Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The family entertainer also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. It is scheduled to release in February 2023.
