TV Series ‘Tell Me Lies’ Renewed For Season 3 – What Fans Can Expect?

Hulu’s addictive drama ‘Tell Me Lies’ is officially coming back for a third season. The series based on Carola Lovering’s novel explores the toxic relationship between Lucy Albright played by Grace Van Patten and Stephen DeMarco played by Jackson White, spanning over eight years. After the dramatic ending of the Season 2, fans were eager to see what will happen next. As now third season has been officially confirmed the wait is over for the audience.

On December 19, Hulu announced the renewal of the series. Taking to the social media, they wrote, “couldn’t keep you waiting any longer. #tellmelies is returning for season 3 on @hulu.” With this, Meaghan Oppenheimer continues to stay as a showrunner, who recently in an interview with Variety shared that the Season 3 will focus more on the events of 2015 while still showing some of the story from 2008. She said, “There’s unfinished business in 2008 but the third season will lean more into 2015 to tie up loose ends”.

For those unaware, Tell Me Lies Season 2 was ended with a major twist. At Bree and Evan’s wedding, Stephen revealed a shocking recording that exposed Evan’s affair, which led to breaking friendships and showing Stephen’s manipulative side. Reflecting on this moment, Grace VAn Patten said, “I was amazed at the effort Stephen put into holding onto this secret for eight years.” Jackson White added, “It would be interesting to see Stephen in a situation where he can’t manipulate his way out.”

Fans can expect to see the return of Grace Van Patten, Jackson White and other cast members like Cat Missal, Spencer House and Sonia Mena. However, Tom Ellis who played Oliver is unlikely to return, as his was story wrapped up in previous season.

Meanwhile, there’s no release date for Season 3 yet but with all the drama and twists, fans will be eagerly waiting to see what happens next.
