Maya Benberry, the former girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has shared her thoughts on Kelce’s current relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift. In an interview with Inside Edition, Benberry expressed her skepticism about the authenticity of Kelce’s relationship with Swift, citing his increased media presence.
“The only reason that I question the genuineness of the relationship is because he’s talking to the media a lot,” Benberry remarked during the interview.
Maya Benberry, a 31-year-old life coach, recently stirred up controversy among Swift’s devoted fanbase when she “liked” a comment on social media that referred to the pop star as a “5.” She later clarified her stance on the matter.
Benberry told Inside Edition that she received substantial backlash for the unintentional “like,” describing Swift’s fans as “aggressive” and “hypocritical.” Despite this, she maintained that she harbors no ill will towards the singer.
“I don’t know Taylor Swift, but I’m a fan of her music,” Benberry emphasized. “I don’t feel any way about her dating Travis. It’s cute. She’s beautiful. She’s successful. We’re in two different lanes.”
