One Direction is still a sensation even when the boy band split about 5 years ago. Their songs are something one listens to on loop and if the boy band still was intact then it would have completed 10 years on July 23. But currently the members of One Direction– Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan have parted their ways and are making a name for themselves away from the former band.
During a recent appearance on the Killing It podcast with Jordan Stephens (Rizzle Kicks) and psychotherapist Petra Velzeboer, former One Direction member Liam Payne candidly spoke on his battle with depression and alcohol abuse BACK IN One Direction days. Payne also spoke honestly about Zayn Malik and his style of making music, he then said, “Zayn makes music but he doesn’t really perform. For him, he had such a performance anxiety that he just couldn’t put his head around it. I remember watching his first solo performance it went really great. The graphics they did around him and everything else.”
Liam further added that Zayn is kind of happy, he likes to go to the studio, making the songs but he doesn’t want to do anything that happens post all these things. But anyways, Zayn is streaming hugely and Liam is happy about it.
Speaking of One Direction, the adorable boy band split back in 2014 with Zayn Malik being the first member to walk out of the band. The reason behind the band’s split still remains under covers between the former members. The One Direction fan army still hopes for a reunion and they would really be elated if all the singers just come along for the one last time.
Meanwhile, all of the former One Direction members are enjoying success in their solo careers while still enjoying the support from the One Direction fan army aka One Directioners.
