Former One Direction singer Harry Styles has been hitting the headlines lately. Harry Styles has become the talk of the town ever since the news of him replacing Daniel Craig as James Bond started making rounds on the internet.
However, now Harry Styles himself has broken the silence on the rumours of him becoming the next James Bond.
The Watermelon Sugar singer confessed that he is not in the run to play the iconic spy character. But he did tease his fans about the same happening in the future.
The singer said that he has grew up watching James Bond movies so he will be grateful to don the spy hat someday if the circumstances as such occur.
Harry said, “I grew up watching those. You know, I loved him when I was a kid. So I think it’s kind of everyone’s dream a little bit, right?”
Apart from Harry Styles, other names swirling in the air for playing James Bond are Henry Cavill and Tom Hardy.
For the unversed, Daniel Craig will be starring in the upcoming James Bond movie titled No Time To Die. In this movie, Craig will be essaying the role of the iconic spy for the last time.
This why the makers of the James Bond franchise are looking out for a actor who would fill in the shoes of Daniel Craig.
On the work front, Harry Styles will also be starring in Olivia Wilde’s upcoming venture Don’t Worry Darling. In the movie, Harry will share the screen space with Dakota Johsnon and Florence Pugh.
Speaking of the other actors in talks to play Bond, Henry Cavill said GQ, “If Barbara [Bond producer Barbara Broccoli] and Mike [co-producer Michael G. Wilson] were interested in that, I would absolutely jump at the opportunity. At this stage, it’s all up in the air. We’ll see what happens. But yes, I would love to play Bond, it would be very, very exciting.”
Well, we hope that the new James Bond will be unveiled soon by the makers.
