Farhan Akhtar has been prepping very hard for his upcoming film Toofan with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. While undergoing rigorous training, Farhan has suffered a hairline fracture.
Sharing about the same Farhan took to his social media and wrote “When nature plays Tetris and yup, that’s my first legit boxing injury… A hairline fracture on the hamate (courtesy @kongkoul ????) found among the carpal bones of the hand #nopainnogain #ToofanInTheMaking #trophycollector #weareallthesameinside,”
A source close to the development told the daily, “It’s not a biopic. It is a fictional story scripted by Anjum Rajabali. Farhan fell in love with it as soon as he heard it. Rakeysh has already started the prep and Farhan will be training extensively in boxing. He is looking forward to working with Rakeysh again. The film should roll this year.”
Farhan and Rakeysh are collaborating after six long years and speaking about the same the source adds, “Anjum Rajabali has written this very endearing love story of a boxer, it not a real life figure but a fictitious character. What I liked the most about it (the story) was that it has a new voice. It’s set in the lower middle class. Boxing is not a rich man’s sport, anywhere in the world.”
