Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber have now once again made headlines after fans noticed that the two stars have unfollowed each other on Instagram. The timing has raised eyebrows especially since it comes amid swirling rumours surrounding Justin Bieber’s relationship with Hailey. This isn’t the first time Selena and Hailey have had a public shift in their dynamic but it’s certainly reignited the years long speculation around their rumoured feud.
In recent years, both women were seemed to have buried the hatchet and they even posed for a photo together in 2022. Also, Selena Gomez publicly asked her fans to stop sending hate to Hailey Bieber and both continued to like each other’s Instagram posts regularly. And even at one point, Hailey even liked a post celebrating Selena’s engagement to Benny Blanco and Selena returned the favour by liking a Sephora post about Hailey’s Rhode beauty line.

However, that mutual support now seems to have faded. Their recent unfollow comes after Rare Beauty posted a set of photos of Selena with the caption “Still here”, shortly after Rhode was acquired by E.l.f. Cosmetics in a major $1 billion deal. While nothing was said directly, fans quickly speculated that the post was a subtle dig.
meanwhile, Justin Bieber’s name remains at the centre of the conversation. His recent public comments about a fight with Hailey along with divorce rumours have added fuel to the fire. And it’s still unclear if his relationship troubles are linked to the Instagram move but fans are connecting the dots.
