Salaar Box Office Day 1 Prediction: Film To Have A “Blockbuster” Opening, Higher Than Dunki!

Prashanth Neel's directorial Salaar starring Prabhas can record a box opening between 50-80cr, according to the reports.

Prashanth Neel’s much-anticipated film, Salaar is finally out in the theatres. The action thriller starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan was released on 22 December. Prashanth Neel’s film, Salaar opened up to positive reviews from critics and moviegoers. As per the trade reports it is believed that the film will make a “blockbuster” opening at the box office, almost double the box office opening of Shah Rukh Khan’s film Dunki.

As per the reports, Prabhas starrer Salaar has already grossed a whopping 50cr through its advance booking for its opening day. The film’s advance booking is already higher than Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki’s box office opening collection which is, 30cr.

As per Sacnilk, Salaar’s advance booking sales across languages and regions are worth Rs 49 crore. Meanwhile, the industry’s trade experts are claiming that the film can score a box opening between ₹70 crore to a whopping ₹80 crore, domestically. The film can also record a 100cr opening with its worldwide box office collection.

On the other hand, Prashanth Neel’s directorial has opened up to positive reviews and reactions from critics and netizens. Just hours after the release the Internet went buzzing with Salaar’s early reviews and reactions from moviegoers and critics who praised and hailed the film calling it a “major blockbuster” and the “perfect comeback” of Baahubali actor Prabhas.

Salaar will be a Telugu action thriller film, directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film will feature Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy in significant roles. The film was released in theatres on December 22, 2023 in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
