Fans have long been waiting to know the final release date of Allu Arjun starrer sequel Pushpa 2. However, recently the makers of the much-awaited film announced the final release date of the film which is now set for 15 August 2023, Independence Day. Due to the change in the schedule, it was rumored that the Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty had decided to postpone his long-awaited film, Singham Again.
For the unversed, before the revised release date of Pushpa 2 was announced, Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty had already decided to release his much-awaited film, “Singham Again” starring Ajay Devgn on Independence Day in 2024.
As per the rumors on the internet, it is now believed that the Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty has decided to postpone his film, Singham Again to avoid any clash with Sukumar’s film Pushpa 2 starring South actor Allu Arjun. However, the official announcement about the same is still awaited.
Meanwhile, now denying all the rumors, a source told India Today, that the reports about Singham’s release date being postponed are false, and that Singham Again will be released on the date that’s already planned.
About Pushpa 2: The Rule
Sukumar’s directorial Pushpa: The Rise was a blockbuster hit. The storyline of the second installment of the film will be the continuation of the first part. The second part will feature Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film will be released on 15 August 2024.
About Singham Again
Meanwhile, Singham Again will be the third addition to the Rohit Shetty’s “Singham Universe”. As per the rumors, in the upcoming sequel, Deepika Padukone will essay the role of the female lead in the film. She is rumored to be seen playing the role of Ajay Devgn’s sister in the film.
