Pushpa 2 OTT Rights Sold To THIS OTT Platform For A Whopping Sum?

As per the reports, makers of Allu Arjun starrer "Pushpa 2" have sold the digital rights of the film to a leading OTT platform at a jaw-dropping price.

Pushpa2OTT: Shooting for Director Sukumar’s “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, is currently in progress. Producers unveiled a teaser on Allu’s birthday, offering a glimpse of the highly anticipated jatara scene. According to a report from News18, the makers invested approximately ₹60 crore to film a six-minute scene. According to the report, it took the makers 30 days to complete the scene.

In January of this year, OTT Play reported that Amazon Prime Video secured the OTT rights for the first installment of Pushpa for ₹30 crore, while the makers demanded triple the amount from Netflix India for the sequel. It was also noted that Sukumar will receive a stake from the OTT deal.

Earlier this year, Netflix announced that “Pushpa 2: The Rule” is included in their lineup for the year. News18 reports that the digital rights for the film were sold for ₹100 crore, but the film’s team has yet to comment on these claims.

In addition to Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, Sukumar’s “Pushpa 2: The Rule” will feature Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Brahmaji, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and others, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is slated to release in Telugu, as well as other South Indian languages and Hindi. Following the release of “Pushpa: The Rise” in December 2021, fans have eagerly anticipated the sequel.
