Actor Adivi Sesh is making stops across the country to promote his forthcoming film, Major. The patriotic film is set to release on 3rd June on big screens. It is a biopic on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the decorated NSG Commando, who sacrificed his life in the 26/11 attacks.
The primary screening of the film took place in Pune. On Wednesday, Adivi Sesh shared an emotional video of a paramilitary officer who was overwhelmed seeing the movie. Knowing the presence of the Shivra, a 21 Para SF Veteran at the screening the Major actor knelt down to have a conversation. The Army veteran, in a wheelchair, was surprised by Adivi’s generous act and thanked him. The video of their conversation is getting viral and we can guess that the Ex-Army Officer got goosebumps watching the premier of Major.
Take a look at the video, this will melt your heart:
The video has a text written over it, “#PUNE THE #MAJOR SCREENING. TO HEAR JAI HIND CHANTS. CRIES, LAUGHTER AND JOY. HERES A MOMENT WHEN I MET COMMANDO SHIVRAJ. A 21 PARA SF VETERAN AND HIS WIFE LT COL SIVAPRIYA 🙂 NO CALCULATION. NO PLAN. ALL HONESTY. #MAJORONJUNE3RD.”
As Sandeep Unnikrishnan got his start as a soldier in Pune, the makers chose to premiere the movie in his city. The audience present for the screening gave a standing ovation waving tri-colored flags and chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’.
In the much anticipated pan-India film Adivi Sesh will be seen portraying the role of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. With Major, Telugu actor Adivi Sesh makes his Bollywood debut.
