Director Koratala Siva officially announced that the film “Devara” will be released in two parts through a recent video shared on their social media platform. The first installment of this much-anticipated Junior NTR film is set to hit theaters on April 5, 2024. The movie features Janhvi Kapoor in the leading role opposite the RRR actor, while Bollywood’s Nawab, Saif Ali Khan, plays the primary antagonist in the franchise.
The film is poised to be a grand cinematic spectacle and will release in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, catering to audiences across the country. “Yuvasudha Arts” in collaboration with “N.T.R Arts,” which could be considered Junior NTR’s home production house, is producing the film. National award-winning production designer Sabu Cyril, known for his exceptional set design work in the Baahubali duology, has been enlisted as the production designer for this project.
Telugu star Junior NTR garnered immense love and praise from fans after the massive success of RRR in the Hindi language. “Devara” is the next highly-anticipated film from the actor, eagerly awaited by Bollywood fans.
Saif Ali Khan received mixed reviews for his portrayal of Ravana in ‘Adipurush,’ which also featured Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.
Janhvi Kapoor was last seen alongside Varun Dhawan in “Bawaal,” which had a direct release on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. “Devara” marks her debut in the Telugu film industry.
