Dasara gives a action pack ‘Pushpa + KGF’ vibes!!

Get ready for an action-packed movie with Dasara this 2023

The pan-Indian audience saw Pushpa, RRR, and KFG which raised the bar of acting and cinematography. Now another SS Rajamouli movie is coming up Dasara.

The preview of Dasara, Nani’s ambitious Pan-Indian performance artist, premiered on Monday afternoon. The film marked Nani’s transformation from an action hero into a full-fledged, big-budget audience-performer, and fans applauded that turn. The film hits theaters in March.

The trailer begins with an introduction to the town where the story takes place, a small village deep in a coal mine. Then we are introduced to the character of Nani, a pushpa-like brawler with a particular affinity for alcohol, who devours entire bottles at a time. He says alcohol isn’t an addiction for him, it’s a “ritual of habit.” We see him smash bottles, chairs, and a few bones in a wild, action-packed montage as he asserts his dominance.

The plot then picks up steam as it is implied that there has been trouble in the village.
The hero takes up arms and decides to take them all down in one fell swoop. The last image of the short teaser shows Nani cutting off her thumb with a dagger in order to stick a tilak on her forehead. While the teaser didn’t reveal much about the plot, many fans felt that Nani’s character Pushpa resembles a blockbuster from the Allu Arjun movie. Others said the coal mine scene reminded them of KGF Chapter 2 in Kannada.

A fan wrote, “I got goosebumps.” Many others praised Nani’s transformation into the film’s earthy storyline. “Nani doesn’t just play. She just lives her role,” says one comment.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara also stars as Keerthy Suresh. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada on March 30th. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri at SLV Cinemas Banner, it is billed as Nani’s first all-India project.
