Musical composer and actor, Vijay Antony’s 16-year-old daughter, Meera passed away on September 19 after committing suicide. The news came out as a shock for people and fans of the actor and composer. While days after her demise, Meera’s mother took to Twitter and shared a heart-wrenching note remembering her late daughter.
On Monday, Vijay Antony’s wife, Fatima took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared an unseen picture of her late daughter, Meera. Sharing the picture Fatima wrote an emotional letter for her daughter Meera stating that it’s hard for her to spend her life without her daughter, Meera.
Fatima Vijay Antony wrote, “If I’d known u will live only for 16 yrs, I would have just kept u very very close to me, not even shown you to the sun and moon, am drowning and dying with ur thoughts, can’t live without you, come back to babba and amma. laara keeps waiting for u, love u Thangam @vijayantony,”.
Earlier, music composer and actor Vijay Antony also shared a note addressing her daughter Meera’s death. The note was roughly translated as, “All you kind-hearted people, my daughter Meera was very loving and brave. She has now gone to a better and more peaceful place devoid of caste, religion, money, envy, pain, poverty, and vengeance. She is still conversing with me.”
He further added in the note, “I have died along with her. I have started spending time with her now. Whatever good deeds that I will be doing henceforth on behalf of her, will be initiated by her.”
Vijay Antony’s Daughter Meera’s Suicidal Death
Music composer, filmmaker, singer, and actor Vijay Antony’s 16-year-old daughter, Meera was found dead at their residency in Chennai. Meera was found hanging at 3 am at their residence in Alwarpet, Chennai, soon after which she was taken to the hospital but was announced dead on September 19. Reports claimed that Meera was studying at a popular school in Chennai while it is rumored that she was also battling depression.
