Superstar Ajith Kumar, known for his down-to-earth nature in the industry, is facing accusations from producer Manickam Narayanan. In an interview with Tamil’s Kumudam YouTube channel, the producer accused Ajith of cheating.
According to Narayanan, Ajith borrowed money from him several years ago to send his parents on a holiday to Malaysia. The understanding was that Ajith would do a film for Narayanan and the borrowed amount would be adjusted with his salary. However, to this day, Ajith has neither returned the money nor fulfilled his commitment to do a film. Narayanan expressed his disappointment, stating, ‘He calls himself a gentleman, but he’s not.’
Narayanan also highlighted that other producers, including AM Rathnam, have faced losses due to producing Ajith’s films, and Ajith has not come forward to help them in any way. Narayanan questioned the need for Ajith to cheat people despite having a good family and earning a substantial salary of Rs 50 crores or more per film.
This accusation follows a similar incident involving Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep, who was accused by a producer of bankrupting him after taking money for a film that was never made.
Regarding Ajith’s next venture, he has teamed up with Magizh Thirumeni for VidaaMuyarchi, an action film.”
