PS-1 Actor Karthi Reacts To AR Rahman’s Concert, Says “My Family Too Was In Chaos”

Ponniyin Selvan actor Karthi comes out in support of AR Rahman and reveals his family also attended his Chennai concert.

AR Rahman’s Chennai concert has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The concert brought extreme criticism from the people after the chaos broke out at the venue of the concert. The concert was highly criticized for poor management as the concert was overcrowded, cases of women molestation were registered, and many people had to return even after having valid tickets for the concert.

Reacting to the AR Rahman’s Chennai concert controversy, Ponniyin Selvan actor Karthi now revealed that he also went to attend the concert with his family and witnessed the chaos at the venue. The actor revealed that his family was also affected by the poor management, however Karthi supported AR Rahman and said that the organizers should take responsibility.

Taking to Twitter, Ponniyin Selvan actor Karthi wrote, “We have known and loved Rahman sir for more than 3 decades now… What happened during the concert was unfortunate. However, knowing sir he would be immensely affected by it. My family too was at the concert amid the chaos but I stay with #ARRahman sir and I hope the event organizers take responsibility. I request all the fans to choose love over hate as Rahman sir always gave his love to all.”

Meanwhile, as per the latest reports, the Tamil Nadu Police have launched an investigation into the mismanagement at musician AR Rahman’s concert in Chennai.
