Apart from her, there are many big names in the South film industry who passed away at a young age leaving their fans in a state of utter shock. While some died due to their health others left the world under mysterious circumstances. - Puneeth Rajkumar
Famous Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar who was also known by the name of Appu the power star of Kannada cinema passed away at the age of 46 after suffering a cardiac arrest in gym. The actor’s body was kept for the public view for three days due to his huge fan following. Puneeth Rajkumar was one of the most famous names in the Sandalwood industry and his death left his fans in shock.
2.Kannada Actor Chiranjeevi Sarja
Just like Puneeth Rajkumar, Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja was yet another actor who left the world at a very young age. Chiranjeevi Sarja passed away in 2020 at the age of 35 after suffering from convulsions. Chiranjeevi’s death was survived by his pregnant wife at the time.
3. Jr NTR’s brother Nandamuri Taraka Ratna
RRR actors Jr NTR’s brother Nandamuri Taraka Ratna was an actor and politician. He passed away at the age of 39 after suffering a cardiac arrest in a rally. He was survived by his wife and daughter.

4. Divya Bharti
Actress Divya Bharti who appeared alongside actor SRK previously was a huge name in the Tollywood industry as well. Before coming to Bollywood Divya appeared in several South films. However, she passed away at the age of 19 years while her death still remains a mystery.
5. Telugu Actor Sudheer Varma
Telugu film actor Sudheer Varma reportedly passed away at the age of 34 after committing suicide. He acted in films like Kundanapu Bomma, Second Hand and more. Reportedly, the actor was suffering from depression and wasn’t receiving work opportunities.
6. Silk Smitha
Just like Divya Bharathi, actress Silk Smitha was also a popular name in the South film industry. She appeared in all Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. However, she passed away at the age of 35. While many rumors say the actress committed suicide, but till date, no one knows the exact reason behind her extreme step.
7. Soundarya
South actress Soundarya who appeared in several South hits alongside actors like Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and others, passed away at the age of 34 in a helicopter accident. She worked in all Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries.
8. Sri Hari
Sri Hari was a famous actor who mainly worked in the Telugu film industry. He appeared in a few Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films as well. However, he passed away at the age of 49 due to kidney failure.
9. Uday Kiran
Uday Kiran was an actor who primarily worked in the Telugu films. He appeared in films like Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu, and Manasantha Nuvve which were a box office hit. However, the actor passed away at the age of 33, after he committed suicide due to depression and personal issues.

Yasho Sagar was a rising star in the South film industry. He was known for his work in film, ‘Ullasamga Utsahamga’ opposite Sneha Ullal in 2008. However, the Tollywood actor passed away in a road accident at the age of 25 years while he was returning home from Mumbai.
