Netizens Want Rishab Shetty’s Kantara To Be Sent To Oscars

After Kangana Ranaut, Twitterati also wants Rishab Shetty's film Kantara to go for the Oscars nomination from Indian next year, here's what they have to say-

Kannada film Kantara has now emerged as the biggest blockbuster of the year. Rishab Shetty’s directorial has now surpassed many biggest blockbusters like Yash’s KGF 2 among others. Many celebs from the industry have shared their reviews on the film calling it a “blockbuster” and a “must watch” movie. While now many netizens have even demanded that the film should go for the Oscars nomination next year.

Netizens Want Rishab Shetty’s Kantara To Be Sent To Oscars

The Kannada blockbuster will soon surpass the 200cr club with its worldwide collections. Recently Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut shared her experience after watching the film. The actress stated that she had an “unbelievable” experience as she went out to watch the film. She further stated that the film should go for an Oscars nomination from India.

And it is not only Kangana who believes that the film should go to the Oscars, as now even the netizens have also shared their wish for the film to go to the Oscars next year. Twitterati recently started a #Kantaraforoscars trend stating that Kantara must go for the Oscars.

Sharing the trend a user tweeted, “#Kantara has the highest rate in #UAE & Arabic GCC theatres. A rich Indian culture movie with great plot, screenplay & performance. All my support, it deserves to reach the Oscars. It’s a devine Blockbuster!”.

Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara is based on the Karnataka annual festivals, Bhoota Kola and Kambala. The film is based on folklore, a story of a conflict between humans and nature. The story revolves around “Bhoota” who trades forest land with King in exchange for happiness later King’s son grows up to become a greedy person and claims back the land. The action-adventure film stars Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, Kishore Kumar G, Achyuth Kumar, and Pramod Shetty in key roles.
