Veteran Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has tied the knot for the third time. The cricketer married Pakistani actress Sana Javed. The news was confirmed when Shoaib took to his Instagram and shared his wedding pictures. The cricketer was previously married to tennis star Sania Mirza, and the couple has a five-year-old son, Izaan.
A couple of days ago, Sania Mirza shared a cryptic quote post on her Instagram stories, saying, “Divorce is hard.” “Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely (sic),” reads the quote Sania shared on her Instagram story.
Talking about the marriage of Sonia and Shoaib, they got married in 2010, and the couple used to live in the UAE. As the couple got married, there is no reaction from Sania Mirza; however, rumors of Malik dating Javed had been circulating for quite a while. The ex-Pakistan captain fueled speculations further when he wished the actress on her birthday last year: “Happy Birthday Buddy,” along with a picture of the two.
This is Shoaib Malik’s third marriage. First, he was married to Ayesha Sidique, but the cricketer had always denied the claims and said he does not know her. Ayesha, her family, and her sister Maha had escalated the issue on national television, presenting proof of their marriage.
