This event marked her initial public appearance following his untimely death, and she seemed inconsolable, dressed in traditional white mourning garments.
Sunjay’s passing in early June, allegedly caused by an allergic reaction after ingesting a bee during a polo match, surprised many. The emotionally intense ceremony was attended by close family members—Priya, their young son Azarias, ex-wife Karisma Kapoor, her children Samaira and Kiaan, along with Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
