Karishma shares her experience shooting the song “It was an amazing experience working with T Series and Gurmeet. I remember the first time I heard the song, it took me back to the Golden Era of Bollywood where actresses would romance in the rain wearing chiffon sarees, it was dream come true. The song is shot really well, it almost felt like shooting a short film, it has layers of emotions. It usually takes two days to shoot a music video, it took us over three to four days. We were in no rush, we took a own time and the shot the video aesthetically and beautifully. I love Jubin’s voice, it touches my heart”

As Karan Kundrra’s journey in the popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is about to end soon, he recalls it has been nothing short of a “rollercoaster” ride creating this beautiful yet remarkable journey. The actor plays the love interest to Shivangi Joshi’s character in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH). And now his track in the show is set to end soon.

Having being part of successful shows previously including Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Kitni Mohabbat Hai among others, Karan is thrilled to bits to have received immense love from audience for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai that too in a short time period.

Talking about his experience on the show, he says, it has been nothing short of a “rollercoaster” ride and speaking about same, he adds, “Ranveer’s character has been given so much love from the day he entered to the time he exited from the show. It was a rollercoaster ride because on television, where shows go on for 5 -6 years it’s very rare that you find that one character, which over the period of just 4-5 months is given so much graph, so much to do that it’s almost like doing the action, thriller OTT or a film in four months”.

The actor says he is thankful to the makers and the entire team for charting out interesting arcs around the character of Ranveer and opening up on this, he shares, “Whatever I was promised for Ranveer’s character, for my cameo on ‘Yeh Rishta…’, I think they gave me much more. My journey is over and that’s exactly the way we have planned it and it did really well. It was supposed to end earlier but it got extended but I think it was totally worth it for me and for the show as well. And I’m happy that I left a mark for everybody”.

The most loved and immensely popular indian soap opera airs on Star Plus and also streams digitally on renowned OTT streaming platform Hotstar. He further says he is grateful to have collaborated with producer Rajan Shahi for the opportunity and says working with him has been a memorable experience.

Heaping praises on Rajan, the actor says, “I’m very overwhelmed and happy and grateful to him, everybody on Directors Kut Production, the actors, crew, the creative team and others”.

He also added, “Rajan Ji is a very passionate person and gives everyone a sense of family. You understand once you get on to such a show you realise why this show ran for so long because it’s just like a family feeling”.

Ruhi Chaturvedi, who plays the negative character Sherlyn Khurana in Kundali Bhagya, talks about her father’s reaction when she got the offer.

Ruhi shares, “I remember when I got the offer; my father was sceptical about me taking up this character. Since it was a negative role, he felt I would get typecast and immediately said no. It took a while for me to convince him by saying that it was just a two-month cameo and at the end of the first month, the character would turn into a positive role before she exits the show. That’s when he agreed to let me take the offer.”

Kundali Bhagya completed 1,000 episodes but Ruhi’s role is still the same, yet sher loves playing her character.

“I have come to realise that a negative character is a pivotal element for a positive character to succeed in a story. It’s like Raavan tha isliye Ram bhi the.”
