Tejashwi Yadav Reacts to Nitish Kumar’s Jibe; Feels Kumar Targeted PM

Nitish Kumar is the current Chief Minister of Bihar. Kumar has been the CM for 3 terms already and in this election wants the fourth term.

Tejashwi Yadav reacts to Nitish Kumar and feels that in targeting him and his family, Kumar also targeted the PM.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in his rally had mocked the RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav for having nine children.

In response to that Tejashwi issued a statement that these words of Nitish Kumar had hurt women and his mother’s sentiments. He further added that in mocking people with many children, he also mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the PM also has six siblings

“By commenting on my family, Nitish Kumar is targeting PM Modi as he also has six siblings. By using such language, Nitish Kumar has insulted women and my mother’s sentiments. They don’t speak on main issues including corruption, unemployment etc,” Yadav said.

Nitish Kumar’s Jibe

At a poll rally on Monday, Nitish Kumar had taken a jibe at Lalu Prasad Yadav for having multiple children. He said that the RDJ supremo had nine kids and only two of them were boys. Kumar further added that Yadav preferred his sons over his daughters as his whole attention is towards them.

“He (Lalu Yadav) has given birth to eight-nine children. He has no faith in his daughters. After several daughters, his sons were born. What kind of Bihar do you want? Is this the kind of Bihar you want? You can imagine the extent to which Bihar will be ruined. Everything will be destroyed,” Kumar had said.

This is not the first time in these elections that Nitish Kumar has lost his cool. Feeling threatened by the opposition and having lost his footing has left the 69 year old frustrated.

Kumar has hence resorted to personal attacks which are not typical for the current CM.

Tejashwi Yadav had responded to Kumar’s attack on twitter too stating, “Even bad words used by Nitish ji against me are like blessings to me. Nitish ji is mentally and physically tired and that is why he can speak whatever he likes. I treat his words like a blessing. This time Bihar has decided to vote on the issues of employment and development.”

The Bihar elections will kickstart from 28th October and will be held in 3 phases. The finally counting of votes will be on 10th November as said by the Election Commission of India.
