Over the last couple of days, Sidhu Moose Wala’s tragic and untimely death has set the internet on fire. While some fans have been mourning the death of the 28-year-old singer, others still are trying to process the tragic loss that has sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry. For the unversed, the ‘G-Wagon’ singer was shot dead by around 8 to 10 attackers on the 29th of May in Mansa, Punjab. The singer was mercilessly shot over 30 times and even after firing, the attackers made it a point to check whether the singer was alive.
The singer’s death has set a wave of protest among his fans, seeking for justice of the late singer as today he got cremated at his native village in Jawaharke amid heavy security development. The recent development though is making rounds on the internet as the Punjab police have now caught a suspect from Dehradun as a part of the ongoing probe of the tragic murder case.
Caught by the Punjab Police’s anti-gangster task force with the help of the Uttarakhand special task force (STF) and Dehradun police, the STF officer confirmed the news “after the joint team of the Punjab Police and the Uttarakhand Police tracked down a car with Punjab registration number on the outskirts of capital Dehradun.”
The officer further added about the track down saying, “Punjab police had specific inputs about a car in which the suspect was travelling. The joint team then cautiously cordoned off all the exit points of the city and pursued the car near Nayagaon police checkpost about 15 km outside the city centre. The suspect was then brought out of the car in which four other people were also travelling”.
He further confirmed how the suspect was then handed over to the Punjab Police for further investigation, “the primary probe, it was found that the suspect had provided logistics to the murderers of Moose Wala. However, further details could only be divulged by the Punjab Police which is probing the serious case,” he added.

For the unversed, apart from being an exceptional singer, Sidhu was also a politician, as the police had confirmed earlier that the killing of the singer was revenge for the murder of Vicky Middukhera, leader of the Akali Dal. It was confirmed by Punjab Director General of Police V K Bhawra that the killing took place as a reality of an ongoing inter-gang rivalry.
