Our desi girl Priyanka Chopra is now an International star. Despite living in America for several years now, the actress is still attached to her Indian roots. Priyanka had an inter-faith marriage with Nick Jonas, but the couple celebrates festivals of both religions.
Today, on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas performed a Pooja at their home in Los Angeles. PeeCee has shared an image in her Instagram story and wished “Happy Mahashivratri” to her fans.
“Har Har Mahadev,” wrote the actress.
Both Nick and Priyanka can be seen in Indian attire as they seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.

This year is extra special for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. A few weeks ago, they welcomed their first child via surrogacy. Sharing the good news, Priyanka and Nick wrote on social media, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
The baby was born prematurely as it arrived 12 weeks earlier at a Southern California hospital.
