Hailey Baldwin for her wedding with Justin Bieber had previously teased that she had chosen her wedding dress designer for over a year. Hailey who married in a lavish ceremony in South Carolina now revealed that her wedding gown was by Off-White’s Virgil Abloh and she also gave fans an inside look at her third and final fitting in a video shared by Vogue magazine.
Hailey in the video said, “When I said I wanted Virgil to do my dress, I didn’t want somebody who was a wedding dress designer. I just feel like my style and my street style is such a part of who I am and Virgil has always just been in my corner since the beginning. And I just feel like it’s cool to see such an intricate gown from him. I feel beautiful…it’s perfect.”
Virgil’s unique style includes words in quotations over his designed outfits. At first glance, Hailey’s dress seemed to be fairly traditional, but on taking a closer look, the devil was in the details. Hailey’s stylist and BFF Maeve stated, “Virgil and I talked about adding the [Off-White] logo in — if you look closely, there are pearl details all over that have the Off-White logo. And in the back, [it says] ‘wedding dress’ in his classic quotations.” The theme was used for her epic veil, which had the words, “till death do us part.”

Hailey who was very much involved in the designing of her dress had a vision in mind. She revealed how she wanted specific on the sleeves. She said, “I knew I wanted [then] long onto my hands. I knew I wanted it to be this [strapless] silhouette, I knew I wanted my back to be showing.” A team of 20 people at the brand’s atelier in Milan, Italy, made her dress and veil. And though the fitted gown did give Hailey a bit of trouble as she moved around during the fitting her stylist was also seen teasing her about shes needed to “practice” her walk before her trip down the aisle!
Hailey rocked three dresses for her wedding with Off-White dress being one of them. She also opted for a silky number by Vera Wang and a Ralph & Russo one which she paired with sneakers.
