The country singer-songwriter shared the happy news on Instagram by posting a series of photos that captured the special moment including a close-up of her engagement ring. She captioned the post, “4x4xU forever ❤️,” referencing to her hit song.
Lainey Wilson, 32, and Hodges, 28, started dating in 2021 and have been inseparable ever since. The former NFL quarterback has been a constant supporter of Wilson’s music career, and often spotted attending major events like the Country Music Association Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards and her headline shows. The couple made their red-carpet debut at the ACM Awards in May 2023, and since then, fans have been rooting for their relationship.
The proposal was nothing short of heartfelt. One of the photos shows Wilson in shock and joy, surrounded by roses, candles, and framed pictures of the couple.
