Jonathan Majors has addressed the recent leak of an audio clip that allegedly features him discussing an incident with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari . The clip which surfaced online has sparked widespread discussion with many questioning the actor’s comments.
In a conversation with Complex Magazine, Jonathan Majors responded to the controversy stating, “I was so grateful that I had done my work and am continuing to do my work.” When asked about his reaction to the leaked audio, he added, “”I can’t speak to it, but obviously, because you’re talking about it, there are vibrations, reverberations, same as everything before. But I was happy I’d done my work.”
Jonathan Majors was arrested in March 2023 on the charges of assault and harassment against his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari . By December 2023, he was found guilty of third-degree assault and harassment. Further in April 2024, he was sentenced to a 52-week in-person counselling program and probation with additional conditions to avoid any further legal trouble for the next year.
Following his sentencing Grace Jabbari, through her lawyer expressed hope that the court-mandated program would serve as a deterrent for future behaviour. She also extended gratitude support organizations that helped her navigate the legal process.
