Ludacris, the American actor, and rapper, recently opened up if he has got any update on the Fast & Furious franchise. He expressed that he lacks any information about the upcoming installment of the F&F franchise, indicating that fans might need to wait longer than expected for news. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the rapper and actor—who portrays tech expert Tej in the highly successful series—shared that he is unclear about when production will commence, confirming that the project is still uncertain.
This uncertainty may lead to increased speculation, particularly since Fast X concluded with a significant cliffhanger and the franchise is set to end with a two-part finale. Despite director Louis Leterrier’s continued involvement and Vin Diesel’s promise of a spectacular conclusion, Universal has not yet officially approved the project, which complicates the timeline for its future.
“I’m also waiting for updates, man. I wish I could share more information, but I don’t want to provide you with inaccurate details. All I can say at this point is that I’m eager to receive updates, and I know we have been putting in a lot of effort to make sure that the final installment ties everything together,” he stated.
Recently, the 47-year-old was seen alongside Fast & Furious co-stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez in a Super Bowl advertisement. When discussing the strong connection among the cast, he remarked, “We don’t use the term ‘family’ lightly. We say it frequently, but we genuinely mean it. What I mean by that is, if you think about any other movie franchise, I can assure you that when they call ‘cut’ and leave the set, they’re not usually spending holidays together.”
