One of the most anticipated movies of 2023 is Gadar 2. The shoot of the movie has begun and recently a shooting video has gone viral on the internet.
Gadar 2, starring Sunny Deol, is an action-drama in which the actor reprises his popular role as Tara Singh from the 2001 blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The first poster for the film was recently unveiled and it has been reported that filming is nearing completion. Videos of Sunny Deol’s fight sequences have now been uploaded online, giving a glimpse of the scale of the film.

One of the videos, shot in a dusty field, features Sunny’s character in black kurta pajamas. and a matching turban fighting multiple enemies. The men he fights wear khaki uniforms, suggesting they may be police officers. The video shows Sunny single-handedly beating up various enemies. Another video shows the same fight from a different perspective.
Another video posted to Twitter shows Sunny and a few other characters chained to pillars. Then Sunny aggressively breaks open the chains with her bare hands. There is no information on how old these videos are or where they were recorded. Gadar 2 has been filmed at various locations in Mumbai and Punjab over the past few months.

The film, officially titled Gadar: The Katha Continues, will be released on August 11, just before Independence Day. It also brings back Ameesha Patel in the role of Sakeena, as well as Utkarsh Sharma as Sunny and Ameesha’s son Charanjeet. Utkarsh, the director’s son, was 7 years old when he appeared in the original. Other cast members in the sequel include Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, and Manish Wadhwa.
