Prince Harry and Meghan Markle their Netflix documentary ‘Harry & Meghan‘ was not a recipient of a single nomination at this time at Emmy Awards.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex their Netflix documentary ‘Harry & Meghan‘ was not a recipient of a single nomination at this time at Emmy Awards.

The series premiered on Netflix in 2022 and despite receiving mixed reviews from critics it garnered the highest number of viewers on the streaming platform. Many called the documentary a wrong decision. It has not been renewed for a second season and the makers have ignored it.

‘Harry & Meghan’ was being considered for the Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series category. This was anticipated given the series track record for viewing which was higher than that of comparable well-liked shows.

However, it was mentioned in the Hollywood Critics Association Award nominees for Best Streaming Nonfiction Series. Internet users criticised the Hollywood Critics Association, claiming the show was entirely fictious and nothing was real.

In the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been trending, and according to reports revealed that Harry’s approval has decreased to 46% in the first quarter of 2023. Markle’s favorability has also changed, falling to 36%. Reports said, the couple was 100% sure they would receive an Emmy nomination, and it appears that a nomination would have led to negotiations and contracts that might have brought them $300 million.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received a lot of criticism after the documentary’s December 2022 release. In the documentary, Harry claimed that his family was prejudiced and that, following the couple’s marriage, the British media highlighted Markle’s multiracial heritage.

Additionally, Meghan Markle criticised the British media, claiming that they made up their own tales. The documentary was a part of a $100 million production agreement between Netflix and the couple. They have been attempting to establish their own financial independence since leaving the royal family.
