Directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the much-awaited and highly anticipated Tamil sports drama, Lal Salaam was finally released in the theatres today on 9th February. Starring South superstar Rajinikanth the film has opened up to positive reviews and reactions from moviegoers and the public who called the film a “blockbuster hit”.

Starring South megastar Rajinikanth as “Moideen Bhai”, Lal Salaam is a much-awaited Tamil film directed by the actor’s daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The sports drama also features legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in a cameo role. Just hours after the release a segment of early watchers and moviegoers shared their reactions and reviews on the film on X (formerly known as Twitter).

About Lal Salaam
Directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter, Aishwarya, the Tamil film, Lal Salaam features Rajinikanth in the lead role as “Moideen Bhai”. As per the reports, legendary cricketer Kapil Dev also appears in a cameo role in the film. Apart from them, the film will also feature Vishnu Vishal, Nirosha, Dhanya Balakrishna, Sajjadul Ahamed Riya, and others in significant roles. The Tamil sports drama was released in the theatres on 9th January.
