On Zoom’s By Invite Only when he was asked about his status quo and equation with Jennifer, Tanuj Virwani has blatantly denied and refuted all the rumors about their alleged relationship by saying on record that both him and Jennifer Winget are really just very very good friends and also termed Jennifer as his ‘favourite female co-star’ and a ‘dear friend’ and also confirmed that they both aren’t dating each other.
Tanuj said, “We are just really, really good friends. And the video in question that you bring up was just randomly taken on Valentine’s Day because we were attending an event together… She is amazing, she really is. She is by far my favourite female co-star”.
This said video had both Tanuj and Jennifer attending a press conference. The actors were then asked about their plans for Valentine’s Day by the reporters and giving their witty answer to same, Jen asked, “Specific planning?” which had been followed by Tanuj laughing who then later on added, “Main jaanta hoon aapko ek specific answer ki zaroorat hai (I know you are looking for a specific answer)”.
Tanuj Virwani previously dated Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan. However, they later parted ways and in his earlier interview with a leading entertainment tabloid, addressing about what really didn’t workout for them, Tanuj had said, “I think one of the things that went wrong for us was being open about our relationship in public. We had no qualms about discussing our relationship openly. We believed in being honest about it, which eventually backfired”.
Famours for his impactful role in Amazon’s Inside Edge, Tanuj Virwani was seen in Kamathipura (The Tattoo Murders), Tandoor, Murder Meri Jaan and Cartel which are all on OTT space within this year.
