Suchita Trivedi: We Must Never Let Ego Ruin Our Precious Relationships

Egos play a huge role in spoiling many relationships, and it’s not in romantic relationships. Ego can ruin friendships and put a wedge between family members. Conflicts are caused due to the unwillingness to see a situation from the other’s perspective.

Sony Entertainment Television’s show Indiawaali Maa has always been an audience favourite because while it’s relevant and entertaining, it also, throws light on topical matters that resonate with the viewers. The ongoing track of the show showcases that even thought it’s evident to everyone around them that Rohan and Cheenu are meant to be together, they however have a struggle figuring out that as their romance gets tangled in an vicious egoistic circle. To shake them out of this, Rohan’s mother Kaku, essayed by the versatile actress Suchita Trivedi decides to take matters in her own hands. As Kaku was making amends on the show, Suchita had a realisation of her own.

Sharing her thoughts on the same, Suchita Trivedi said, “I strongly believe that if we let our egos go unchecked, it can cause tremendous turmoil in our lives— particularly with our closest relationships. So, we should be kind and sensitive and take a step forward toward true happiness. In the show, Rohan and Cheenu have had their share of ups and downs and their egos had a huge role to play in it. So, as parents and elders, it was upon us to show them the guiding light and make them see beyond the smoke of fuelled egos. I hope with the show, we are also able to convey the right message to our viewers and help them nurture their thoughts in some way.”

While the ongoing track on the show celebrates the precious and old school love of Kaku and Hasmukh, on the other hand it draws a parallel to Rohan and Cheenu’s rocky relationship and how the parents will help reunite the love birds.
