During the recent press meeting at the launch of the upcoming Star Bharat show, he revealed that he rejected to do a Swayamvar seven years ago.

The Bollywood singer was asked about his decision of finding his true love on the National television the singer. To this Mika Singh said, “Well this was a cumulative decision of the Star Bharat team as they approached us with the show, and I remember being approached for the show in 2015 as well, but I think at that time I was not ready, I didn’t think of having such thoughts because I always focused on my career and because my attention was mostly towards my music so I wasn’t ready for the show back then, but fortunately I got the chance again and so I called Daler paaji and told him about the offer, while he always scolds me over marriage because I have rejected many wedding proposals earlier as I was focusing on my career back then so I didn’t have the time, So paaji used to advise me about getting married, or engaged, he told me to atleast have a girlfriend, so I asked paaji if I should go then he said yes go and do something this time, so Daler paaji told me that it’s a good opportunity and what can be better than a swayamvar, while today every person have dreams of getting settled after marriage while here Star Bharat itself has come in the form of a family so I should say yes”.

Mika Singh also revealed that he rejected 100 or 150 girls in his life. He added, “It’s not that there was any problem with the girls but because I wanted to focus on my career.”

The upcoming reality show will telecast the opening episode on the 19th of June. It will then air from Monday to Friday at 8 PM only on Star Bharat. 12 beautiful divas will compete against each other to become Mika Singh’s life partner.
