Star Bharat is presenting Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti where Indian singer Mika Singh will meet 12 single women and choose one to be his life partner. The show will be hosted by Singer Shaan. A grand press launch event was held at ‘The Ummed’ in Jodhpur on 7 June. Bhoomi Trivedi and Jaspinder Narula also showed up at the event as both the singers share a close bond with the groom-to-be.
During the press meeting, the Bollywood singer was asked about his plans for his upcoming 45th birthday as the singer would be busy shooting for the show. Mika revealed about skipping his birthday celebrations after the demise of the two legendary singers, KK and Sidhu Moose Wala.
Mika said, “Well I had many plans for my birthday, and I always celebrated my birthday with grand celebrations, but this year I won’t be celebrating my birthday because, If you witness death in your family you usually avoid celebrations, so this year I have decided that I will not be celebrating my birthday or any other celebration because our legendary KK sir has left us with his memories, he has bid us goodbye with his memories, but there’s a saying that legends never die and so KK’s song and his memories will always remain in our hearts, so that’s why I have decided that I won’t celebrate my birthday this year and will pay tribute to him. “
Apart from KK, Mika also mentioned the late Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moose Wala, as he further added, “And the second one is my younger brother, Sidhu Moose Wala, you all would have heard how he was murdered in a shameful and lousy way, and that’s why I have decided that two families have died, so we should not celebrate.”
The upcoming reality show, ‘Mika Di Vohti’ will telecast the opening episode on the 19th of June. It will then air from Monday to Friday at 8 PM only on Star Bharat. 12 beautiful divas will compete against each other to become Mika Singh’s life partner.
