In a recent interview, the dynamic TV producer who has given us several hit shows in form of Ishq Mein Marjaawan season 1 and 2, Rang Badalti Odhani, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera, Sadda Haq, Suvreen Guggal: Topper Of The Year and so on, Mamta Patnaik says Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi has its own legacy.

Indian television’s most loved, successful and iconic TV show, ace and dynamic producer duo Yash and Mamta Patnaik’s Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi produced under their banner Beyond Dreams Entertainment, has come back on screens with its much awaited third season titled Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi – Nayi Kahaani that airs on Sony TV and speaking about the immensely popular TV serial in her latest candid chat, Mamta Patnaik says Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi has its own legacy.

Television’s hit and trendsetting show Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, has been renewed for third season and producer Mamta Yash Patnaik says Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi has its own legacy.

In May, the makers released the promo of the latest season featuring Shaheer Sheikh, Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar. Unlike other daily soap operas and TV serials that primarily revolve around family politics shown through the eyes of saas-bahu, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi is a really mature love story of Devrath Dixit (Shaheer Sheikh), a successful business tycoon and Dr. Sonakshi Bose (Erica Fernandes), a nutritionist.

Mamta says Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi has been a very special franchise for her company, Beyond Dreams and opening up she said, “Kuch Rang… is real, true and beautiful. Success of its earlier seasons have set the expectations for the new season”.

Mamta says to write an unconventional story like Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi was more exciting than challenging and opening up on same, she said, “In a saas bahu drama where there are clear black and white characters and the protagonists are sanitized, in ‘Kuch Rang …’ the characters are human. We all evolve in life and in our relationships and I am glad that we are able to showcase it through the show. As the story progresses it will grow on people. So more than challenging it was rather exciting to write and present all of these things in our story”.

The shoot of the third season is underway and Mamta says the team has been adhering to all the necessary COVID-19 guidelines and shedding more light on it, Mamta shares, “This pandemic has taught us many valuable lessons. Now everyone understands the importance of health and wellbeing. As a company we are diligently taking all possible precautions in terms of SOPs to provide a safe workplace”, also adding that each and every cast and crew members have been vaccinated.

The romantic-drama show is aired on Sony TV.  Talking about the creative synergy between her and her producer husband Yash Patnaik, Mamta says, they both share a common vision of narrating content driven stories and speaking about it, she added, “All our projects are our shared vision and we are equally passionate about everything we do. We don’t have barricades when it comes to our contributions to the project. We discuss everything from concepts, stories, characters, casting to production design. It is indeed a collective effort”.
