Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti are all set to return in the sequel of their hit telle serial, Qubool Hai. However, the second season of Qubool Hai will be launched on a digital platform with 10 episodes.
Talking about the show, Karan states when the show started eight years ago, it smashed all the stereotypes, and with the launch of its sequel, it will start conversations once again.
Karan shares, “Qubool Hai did break stereotypes eight years ago and once again it will start conversations. The backdrop of the story will centre around the lead couple. This time the stakes are much much higher for Asad and Zoya, and the scale is international. But the show will also reminisce the ethos of the original series to maintain the legacy of Asad and Zoya.”
Karan Singh Grover further shares that he is very much excited to start the shooting for Qubool Hai 2.0 and expects that people will also love the digital version same as that loved earlier.
The sequel is scheduled to launch next year, and the shooting will commence from November this year. The digital series promises to bring a new premise to light with its original leads, i.e. Karan and Surbhi along with some prominent new faces, Arif Zakaria and Mandira Bedi.
