The television reality show Bigg Boss 17 is currently in its 13th week almost 3 weeks ahead of the grand finale. In the upcoming weekend ka vaar episode, filmmaker Karan Johar who previously hosted Bigg Boss OTT will be seen hosting the weekend ka vaar episode this week replacing Salman Khan. During his chat with the housemates, Karan slams Vicky Jain for not coming out to support and speak for his wife Ankita Lokhande.
Karan Johar Slams Vicky Jain For Not Supporting Ankita
The promo begins with Karan telling Vicky that when his mother came to the house and questioned Ankita he should have stood by her and supported her. Karan also mentioned the incident when Vicky’s mother passed some insensitive comments on Ankita’s parents. Karan said “mein ye nahi kehe raha ke unko (Vicky) kuch bhi kehna chahiye apni maa ke khilaf all he needed to do was ask you ke Ankita kya hua”.
Following the confrontation, Vicky then brought up this topic with Ankita and asked her about what happened when his mother confronted Ankita during her visit to the house. Ankita then revealed how Vicky’s father mentioned her late father to her mother during their conversation. However, instead of supporting Ankita, Vicky defended his father saying that if it was her father he would have done the same.
Reacting to the promo a segment of netizens slammed Vicky calling him toxic. A user wrote, “Is this man serious. He is justifying his father’s act to call Ankita’s mom !! Pls divorce him asap she will not stay happy man he has same mentality as his father Damn this is so toxic”.
For the unversed, previously Vicky’s mother mentioned during her chat with Ankita that her father-in-law had called her mother and asked Ankita’s mother whether she also kicked her husband like Ankita kicked Vicky in one of the episodes. This incident grabbed a lot of criticism from the viewers who slammed Vicky’s parents calling them toxic.
