The cooking reality show MasterChef 7 India has its grand finale on March 31st, and we can’t wait to watch our favourite contestant lift the trophy. The judges have chosen their top 3 finalists: Santa Sarmah, Suvarna Bagul, and Nayanjyoti Saikia. Aruna Vijay has been eliminated in tomorrow’s episode after she failed to impress with her dish. In the episode, the task was for those 4 contestants to reinvent Indian street food with the chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Garima Arora.
Aruna was eliminated in the final round of eliminations despite her best efforts. Netizens quickly took to social media to express their opinions once the show’s top 3 were announced. Santa, Suvarna, and Nayanjyoti were praised by several people as deserving candidates. One user wrote, “Shukar hei bothhh Mushkil say out huwy.” Another user wrote, “Priyanka ke jane pe aruna bahut khush thi…le aruna ab tu bhi gayi.” One more user wrote, “shukar hei bothhh Mushkil say out huwy.”
Nonetheless, the show has received a lot of trolling and criticism for displaying its clear bias against some competitors for some time now. It all began when the judges permitted vegetarian home cook Aruna Vijay to replace paneer with her protein in a fish-based dish.
MasterChef India 7 started on January 2 and airs Monday through Friday at 9 p.m. on Sony TV. New episodes of MasterChef India season 7 will begin streaming at 9 p.m. on Sony’s digital platform, Sony LIV.
