And after getting evicted, Aishwarya expressed her regret of participating in Big Boss 17 with husband Neil Bhatt.
Everyone was disappointed with Captain Isha Malviya’s decision to nominate Aishwarya Sharma. Even Aishwarya felt that her elimination was unfair as she didn’t break many rules of the house. Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt, a real life married couple, shared screen in a television serial earlier named “Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein” and later this couple participated in Big Boss 17. Before entering the Big Boss house, it was asked to Aishwarya whether it was right to enter as a couple. She answered that it did not need to be negative. Both of them said that their bond is strong, and they definitely would not be an obstacle in each other’s path. But after the game started, they were often seen arguing with each other.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywoodlife after eviction, when she was asked whether it was a correct decision to participate with Neil, she answered, “See everything has two sides. Neil’s presence did make me emotionally strong and the same I can say on his behalf. However, according to whatever I have faced in the house, I think it’s not a good idea to participate in the reality show with your real-life partner. In my case, because I am very quick with reactions and Neil is conscious, I was the one who came out in the wrong manner. If Neil would have not been there, I would have been more vocal and stronger with my opinions. But because I was with my partner, I think I was judged and criticized more.”
Aishwarya had always been in the spotlight due to her unfiltered behavior, whereas Neil was always a calm person. Aishwarya used to react suddenly within a second to anything and, therefore, she faced a backlash from the audience.
