It has been almost two months since the actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away. The Chhichhore actor died of suicide on June 14, 2020, and since then there have many shocking revelations in his case. Amid the on-going investigation, Sushant’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has become the talk of the town.
A while back, the late actor’s father K.K Singh lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five others for abetment to suicide and fraud. As K.K Singh registered the FIR in Patna, the Bihar Police also began to investigate the case independently. However, the Jalebi actress filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking transfer of the case from Bihar to Mumbai.
Post the first hearing on August 5, the Supreme Court has set another date to hear Rhea’s transfer petition and it is on August 11. After the first hearing, the people involved were asked to submit their replies within 3 days.
For the unversed, Rhea filed the transfer petition in the Supreme Court on July 29. Yesterday, Rhea Chakraborty alongside her brother Showik Chakraborty was grilled by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for almost 8 hours. Rhea was seen leaving the ED office later in the night.

The ED is currently probing the allegations related to money laundering in SSR’s case. The Kai Po Che actor’s father has accused several allegations against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. The actress’s manager Shruti Modi was also probed by the ED.
Reportedly, Sushant Singh Rajput’s roommate Siddharth Pithani is also asked to be present at the ED office on August 8 (Today). Currently, the Mumbai Police is investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s case and they have recorded statements of over 56 people.
For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput died of suicide on June 14, 2020, and his dead body was found hanging at his residence in Mumbai. The late actor was reportedly battling with depression because of some personal stuff.
